The Organization

The Jersey Shore Convention and Visitors Bureau is a destination marketing organization currently funded through memberships and New Jersey State grant funding.

The Mission

The JSCVB promotes a positive image of the environmental, cultural, and historic assets of the region through marketing programs that increases leisure and business tourism thus increasing visitor expenditures, tax revenues and employment opportunities. Recently partnered with RADD, the entertainment industry’s voice for road safety, the two organizations will work together to bring the message of socially responsible behavior  to the Shore.

The Purpose

The organization is operated exclusively to promote tourism in the Jersey Shore region made up of Monmouth and Ocean Counties to stimulate commerce, strengthen the regional tax base and to support educational, cultural, historic and tourism institutions.

The Purpose includes:

Coordinating events, promotional campaigns, and collaborative ventures individually and/or in conjunction with governmental and private sector entities engaged in economic development through tourism marketing. The goal being to raise the profile of the Jersey Shore region, draw visitors to the destinations and to promote community revitalization. Promotion of programs, infrastructure and other initiatives that will assist the tourism industry.  Creating increased employment opportunities for Jersey Shore residents and educating them on the value of tourism. Promoting culture, history and diversity of the region to residents, visitors and businesses.

To provide our sponsors and members  the marketing tools on a regional basis to support year round visitors and tourism at the Jersey Shore.  We are the marketing arm of the towns, chambers and organizations that generally could not afford marketing on an individual basis.
